Gostai Jazz Introduces New Series of Jazz Robots for Telepresence

Gostai has introduced a new series of Jazz robots for telepresence. The robot measures 1 m in height and is equipped with a camera. Users can connect to the wifi-enabled robot from anywhere through any web browser.

They can view the images that appear in the browser in real time via the robot’s camera. The robot virtually teleports the user, who can participate in a meeting, go to a location, monitor plant and office operations in an interactive manner.

Users can control the movements of the robot through an intuitive interface and can monitor its surroundings and talk via the entrenched loudspeaker. Telepresense is a latest method of communication that makes casual talks easier. Along with the image and sound features offered in conventional systems, it also allows users to move. Telepresense decreases travel expenditures and helps reduce carbon footprint. It can also be used as an equipment to greet guests.

The Jazz robot can do patrolling at night as it features an infrared camera and has a map of its surroundings. It has a laser system that helps to locate things and senses suspicious moves. In case of any suspicion, the teleoperator can direct the robot to analyze the situation in real time.
