Bristol Robotics Lab to Host FIRA Roboworld Cup 2012

FIRA Roboworld Cup 2012 will be held at the Bristol Robotics Lab (BRL) between August 20 and 25, 2012. It is an international tournament where robotic developers compete among themselves to assess their latest robotic innovations.

The contest is jointly organized by the University of West England and the University of Bristol. The event was founded in 1996.

FIRA Roboworld Cup encourages the teams to develop interest in robotics. Teams are inspired to build their skills in science and engineering fields. They develop fully automatic robots to compete against each other in the tournament.
