Design Automation Conference Announces 48th Executive Committee

Design Automation Conference (DAC), the premium conference for Electronic Design Automation (EDA) has announced the 48th DAC Executive Committee (EC).

The various tasks of the EC members include designing the technical program, developing new proposals, handling various operations of the trade fair and advertising and supervising the entire show. The 48th DAC is scheduled to be conducted at the San Diego Convention Center, California, between June 5 and June 10 2011.

The Executive Committee will be headed by Leon Stok, VP of IBM’s Electronic Design Automation group. He will be honored as the General Chairman of the 48th DAC. The EC will be accompanied by several volunteers from various academic institutions, electronics and semiconductor industries.

Leon Stok has stated that the DAC will be participated by all leading suppliers and experts who work on electronic design. He added that new proposals have been created to bring all the researchers, suppliers and developers of the EDA sector under a single roof and also to highlight the latest embedded systems and software of the EDA platform.
