The technical center is located at the Shanghai Caohejing Hi-Tech Park in the Xuhui District. Forecast shows that China will become the world’s major consumer of industrial robots by 2014. Hence, the new office will help Adept Technology to capitalize on the growing opportunities in China and also to support its existing clients simultaneously. Adept Shanghai is a part of the company’s global expansion strategy.
The new Adept technical center will position the company to provide a high level of support for its existing and new channel partners and end-users. Adept Technology will deliver a complete range of intelligent robots and autonomous mobile solutions and services to the Chinese manufacturers and automation users through its new office. In addition, engineers in the Adept Shanghai center will offer maintenance and repair services, conduct customer training sessions and deliver product demonstrations and feasibility studies.
