Schilling Robotics, recently declared that it has achieved an order from Brazilian operator RRC Robotics for its Submarina of HD ROV systems. The order includes two 150 hp, 3,000 m-rated HD ROV systems that are expected to be delivered during the Q2 of 2012. Following the delivery, the two ROVs will be deployed on two separate vessels for operation in Brazil’s offshore.
According to the General Manager for RRC-Robotica Submarina, José Ramos, RRC will have better operation following the procurement of two Schilling’s HD ROV Systems, being added to RRC’s portfolio. The market of Brazil, along with its clients will benefit from the specialized applications of this versatile, efficient and reliable equipment. With an extended local support from Schilling, the management team at RRC anticipates positive outcome that will further promote its reputation among its customers.
The chief executive officer of Schilling Robotics, Tyler Schilling says that the expansion of RRC Robotica in Brazil represents its development and growth in that region. Furthermore, Schilling has achieved collaboration with FMC Technologies to offer excellent technical support, spares and training.
