Keynote Photonics’ Newly Launched DLP Controller Solutions to Support Machine Vision

Keynote Photonics recently declared the production launch of its FlexLight X3 series of DLP Controller solutions and the inauguration of its new online eStore.

FlexLight X3-PM55 Machine Vision Controller

Making its first appearance at Photonics West, the FlexLight X3 family offers DLP controller solutions designed for machine vision and various other applications including in UV lithography and spectroscopy. In response to the opinions from its customers, Keynote Photonics has re-partitioned its X3 offering. The newly-classified Keynote Photonics’ X3 series are both affordable and versatile.

The X3 family of DLP controllers encompasses three members:

  • The X3-MVC Machine Vision Controller: It allows direct control of specific commercially-available DLP projectors that will contribute to machine vision applications.
  • The X3-PM55, where DLP 5500 0.55-in XGA chipset has been incorporated within X3-MVC that can be adopted with TI's DLP LightCommander Software forming a basis of a full custom solution.
  • The X3-UC1 Ultra Compact provides an ultra -compact 300 lm LED based DLP projector to the X3-MVC.

The X3 platform has been targeted to meet the major challenges involved in 3D metrology systems. It includes potential programmable and adaptive pattern generation system that can be paired with a dual camera frame capture and its corresponding function.

The FlexLight X3 family including X3-MVC is being offered is a very cost-effective manner.

Keynote Photonics will be exhibiting at Control 2012 in Stuttgart, which is scheduled to take place from May 8-10, 2012.
