Sorin Group and Orange Business Services have jointly unveiled the SMARTVIEW remote monitoring solution that is designed for patients with implanted cardiac rhythm management (CRM) devices in various countries across Europe.
While the patient is at home, this SMARTVIEW remote monitoring solution enables healthcare providers to easily access alert messages and valuable cardiac data from Sorin’s implantable PARADYMTM RF devices. Integrated with remote data transmission, Sorin’s CRM devices’ incorporate intelligent proprietary features that provide advanced diagnostic potential as well as early detection of cardiac disease progression for more improved patient management. The SMARTVIEW remote monitoring solution is a time conserving solution for patients, eliminating the need for routine device checks.
The SMARTVIEW-based remote monitoring of Sorin’s implantable cardiac devices will work with regard to physician instructions. SMARTVIEW needs to be used based on the direction of a physician, under authorized clinical evaluation.
