Azzur Group, LLC is pleased to announce the acquisition of Azot, LLC and the formation of Azzur Engineering, a subsidiary of Azzur Group, LLC.
The new venture will provide clientele of both companies access to a wide range of engineering and compliance services within the life sciences industry.
"It has been the mission of Azzur Group, LLC to provide a full-service engineering organization since inception," said Mark O'Donnell, president of Azzur Group. "Engineering capability is a significant component to the 'discovery to delivery' story. In addition, Azzur's future growth prospects will logically lead into certain life science-based product categories."
With a depth of expertise in all facets of the systems development life cycle, Azzur Engineering is able to assist within any phase to help clients reach their goal of running a lean but efficient operation.
"It's an exciting partnership," said Zino Altman, owner and CEO of Azot, LLC, a leading distributor of complete robotic solutions ranging from custom systems development to installation. "It will allow us to combine our engineering solutions and product technologies to address customer needs faster and more efficiently."
Altman and his company bring over 20 years of experience to Azzur Engineering, including development and integration of a variety of engineering products within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. He will continue to oversee the group's division of robotic product offerings including an ophthalmic cosmetic inspection system called Inspector II, a data matrix code reader and all custom equipment design and fabrication.
