LUCY is a humanoid robot with 16 joints, 2 legs and 2 hands. It was designed based on human’s waling mechanism and the robot itself maintains balance according to the environment while walking. When it falls down, it can stand up by itself and it’s an artificial intelligence robot that learns the motion of joints through experiences.
This robot was used RC servo which is relatively cheaper than other server motors and designs the axis distance similar to the human’s joint distance.
Designed dual PIC board for sensor interface and 16 multi-axis controls. Therefore, control of axis and sensor interface is possible at the same time. Also, PC and RF communication is possible.
