Health Robotics Partners with Novamed for Global Market Expansion

Published on December 20, 2011 at 5:08 AM

By Andy Choi

The marketing management of Health Robotics has revealed its plans of expanding its operations worldwide by partnering with Novamed, an oncology leader based in Denmark.

i.v.STATION ONCO

The Managing Director of Novamed explained that of all the Sterile Compounding Automation Technologies available in the market, the second generation products from Health Robotics were known to ensure the safety of the patient and perform efficient compounding of medication at low costs.

The products from Health Robotics adhere to the quick ROI visionary concept of the I.V Room of the Future of Health Robotics. Some of the second generation products from Health Robotics are i.v.STATION, i.v. STATION ONCO and i.v.SOFT. The compounding products from other companies are capable of performing semi-automated sterile compounding tasks and occupy a lot of space. The products from Health Robotics are capable of fully automatic operation and their installation is a simple plug and play step. They operate at speeds three to four times than that of the existing systems. They are also reasonably priced such that they offer ROI in less than a year of purchase. i.v.STATION ONCO is a complement to the sterile compounding solutions for cancer treatment such as Cytocare and i.v.SOFT Assist. The compounding system is capable of automatically mixing medication, capping and labelling the soft plastic bags and syringes of as many as eight different commercially available brands available in 10 different sizes.
