Panther Industries presented Numina Group, a provider of distribution process automation integrator and WCS with the title “2011 Integrator of the Year”.

Numina Group's Print and Apply Labeling

Panther is a producer of increased performance, premium print and apply labeling equipment such as the Panther 2000e. This all electric tamp application ensures precision label placement technology and rapid print or tamp cycle performance.

Numina Group’s labeling solutions are capable of minimizing manual labor while ensuring production, shipping operations and warehouse and distribution order fulfillment, and are therefore being highly demanded. A print and apply label applicator is an affordable robot that can be automated to perform printing as well as tasks like compliance labels or UPS, FedEx, carriers’ shipping labels and retail receiving.

In order to reduce manual labor, software and real-time controls have been integrated to the innovative solutions of Numina involved during in-motion barcode scanning, weighting and dimensioning. Print and Apply Labeling can also automate to enhance distribution operation throughput and to simplify pick, pack, and ship processes.

Based on Numina Group’s values, Panther Industries constructs applicators that comply with high standards. Panther’s PLC based controls such as Panther 2000e ‘All Electric’ print and apply labeling system combine with Numina’s automation control systems.

One Step is a modular product array that implements automation in packing, shipping, and manifesting. It dramatically minimizes the manual operators in shipping applications such as B-to-B and E-Commerce distribution. One Step Plus is capable of automatic scanning, weighing, in addition to dimensions, and prints. It is used for both carrier shipping label and packing sheet in a single step, and reduces several hours of manual labor and eliminates the errors that can occur from a mid-sized distribution operation.
