The newly-launched Colorado Center for Robotic Surgery provides Colorado patients with advanced types of minimally invasive procedures. Visitors at the Cherry Creek Shopping Center are being given the opportunity to test drive the new da Vinci Robots in a unique experience within the Center's Grand Court on June 18, 2012.
HCA-HealthONE has established the Colorado Center for Robotic Surgery, following its expansion of robotic surgery program by installing new robotic devices at five sites across the Denver metro area such as The Medical Center of Aurora, North Suburban Medical Center, Rose Medical Center, Swedish Medical Center, and Sky Ridge Medical Center. The Colorado Center for Robotic Surgery has been expanded in several locations with more surgical procedures and experts compared to other hospitals in Colorado.
Robotic surgery integrates the accuracy of state-of-the-art, innovative technologies with the expertise of highly trained surgeons. Based on the da Vinci robotic system, the HealthONE medical specialists ensure their patients with speedy recovery, less blood loss, greater sparing of nerves, less scarring, and shorter stay period in the hospital.
The Colorado Center for Robotic Surgery locations has a broad range of board-certified specialists who are highly skilled and proficient in kidney disease and partial kidney removal; gynecology; gynecologic cancers; prostate conditions; colorectal cancer and other general surgical techniques. In gall-bladder removal procedures, the surgeons were able to achieve single-site procedures with minimal scarring.
On June 18, the public are being welcomed to test-drive this innovative technology and also interact with robotic surgery experts at the center.
