STEMMER IMAGING Enhances Robotics and Drag Chain Applications with New CAT5e Cable

By Kalwinder Kaur

The internal cable production facility of STEMMER IMAGING has launched a new, economic CAT5e-rated drag chain-compatible cable.

STEMMER IMAGING CAT5e Cable

Designed with intent to promote the availability of CAT6 cables effective for carrying out robotics and drag chain applications, this new cable complements STEMMER’s cable series. Specifically, these cables add high data integrity to electrical transfer properties to extend image transfer applications.

Equipped with moulded connectors, the new cable offers robust and powerful connection to RJ45 plugs-based drag chain-compatible cable. Horizontal or vertical fasteners are being offered to complement with any type of camera connection.

STEMMER IMAGING’s entire range of drag chain-compatible cables are integrated with high quality Polyurethane (PUR) within its new cable’s outer material, to ensure resistance over high torsional and flexural strain associated with these applications. The cable material apparently adapts to the latest standards. It is devoid of CFCs, silicone, adhesive-repelling substances, and halogens. In addition, it is oil-resistant and UL-listed and complies with the northern American market requirements.

The in-house high-end cable test facilities of STEMMER IMAGING enable carrying out stringent individual tests and inspection protocols for the design and manufacture of validated cables and also accommodate testing for ensuring highest quality standards.
