Health Robotics declared that i.v.STATION and Mangiagalli's Clinic has achieved national grant from the Vodafone Foundation. Vodafone customers made this selection by voting from a group of children's welfare-based potential projects.

Under this grant, funds were offered for the i.v.STATION Robot at Mangiagalli clinic that witnesses the birth of 6,500 children annually. Some of these infants would need complex medication dilutions and intensive care.

According to Professor Fabio Mosca at Mangiagalli Institute, i.v.STATION has the ideal technology in solving the challenge of Sterile Compounding for Neonatal Care. Along with next-generation technologies, the implementation of robot is found to be effective at Mangiagalli. Following due diligence, i.v.STATION will provide utmost safety to the newborns at the clinic.

With small footprint, Health Robotics' i.v.STATION and i.v.STATION ONCO can be easily installed in direct patient care areas. Both i.v.STATION and i.v.STATION ONCO have pushed Health Robotics to gain a leading position in the I.V. Automation industry, with exceptional features including complex drug dilutions in vials, I.V. Bags, and syringes.

According to Health Robotics' EVP Gaspar DeViedma, this grant has reiterated the fact that Health Robotics is the world’s unique I.V. Automation company that delivers multi-ingredient Sterile Compounding and complex medication dilutions. By implementing i.v.STATION for Pediatric and Neonatal Care, Mangiagalli will be enlisted with other hospitals that use i.v.STATION such as Sophia Children's Hospital at Erasmus University Medical Center, Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, Ankara Numune Hospital, Duke University Children's Hospital, and Miller Children's Hospital.
