Micromachine/MEMS and ROBOTECH Exhibition Concludes Successfully

On 13 July 2012, Exhibition Micromachine/MEMS and ROBOTECH, one of the largest integrated exhibitions under the name of “Micronano 2012”, was successfully concluded. Around 206 exhibitors from 10 countries or regions participated in this year’s exhibition that welcomed 10,985 international visitors.

The latest technologies and products from leading Industries were exhibited at the event, in addition to hosting various programmes highlighting the theme “Open Innovation”, promoting synergy between industry and academia. Japan’s machinery and robotics industries are driven by Micronano 2012.

According to regular exhibitor, SIJ Technology’s Naoki Tashiro, the company’s recently created smallest inkjet having high viscosity was showcased during the fair to promote brand’s recognition. This fair has served to be a lucrative platform.

Exhibitor Yutaka Katano from the Japanese branch of YOLE Developpement, stated that Japanese clients are being added to the company following the expansion of businesses in the MEMS sector. International trends in the MEMS industry have attracted significant attention in Japan. Since the company was receiving customized market research from its clients, it participated in the fair to extend more services.

According to first time exhibitor Fukoku Bussan’s Yukio Ozawa, the company has produced unique PDMS flow chamber which can be developed in large scale. This fair enabled the company to promote this product.

RT’s Noriaki Nakagawa commented that the company’s main focus of participating in this fair was to discover partnerships for technological development and product promotion. The fair emphasized the importance of quality over quantity by welcoming a variety of industry-targeted visitors. This fair played a vital role in bringing technological development within the industry.

The next Exhibition Micromachine/MEMS and ROBOTECH is scheduled from 3 to 5 July 2013. Thermotec 2013, the international exhibition which is hosted once in four years, will also be held between 3 and 5 July, 2013.
