Published on December 3, 2010 at 7:15 AM

Adept Technology, global supplier of robotics solutions, has released Adept Quattro s800H, the latest addition to the Adept Quattro robot series. The Quattro s800H has increased throughput abilities, ideal for applications featuring bigger work space requisites.

Adept Quattro s800H Robot

The parallel style Quattro s800H is exclusively developed for high-speed industrial applications involved in manufacturing, material dealing, assembly and packaging. It features a work envelope of size 1600 mm. The superior control algorithms and proven tough layout combined with a bigger work envelope, makes Quattro s800H, a perfect high-throughput robot for successful completion of the project.

The Quattro s800H robot has four arms and the company has received the patent for the arms design. In contrast to kinematic solutions, power utilization has been reduced to 23% by means of the four arms. Embedded amplifiers and small controls power the robot and they also ensure reduced cycle times and enhanced footprint ability.
