Adept Technology, Inc., a leading provider of intelligent robots, autonomous mobile solutions and services, has added a new distributor, Applied Controls, Inc. A full-service automation provider, Applied Controls will market and support Adept's portfolio of industrial robots and autonomous mobile robots in the United States' mid-Atlantic region.

Based in Malvern, Pennsylvania, Applied Controls is a distributor that provides factory automation products to customers in eastern and central Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware. To best support customers, the company has made significant investment in demonstration products and expansive test labs, which are fully outfitted with working equipment for hands-on training and proof of concept evaluation.
