Servo-Robot Launches MWR-350 Welding Robot

Servo-Robot, a global leader in providing robotic solutions for joining and material handling processes, has released MWR-350 robot which is suitable for mobile welding applications.

In contrast to manual welding methods, robotic welding offers enhanced quality and productivity. The novel architecture of MWR-350 can support tough welding operations in earthmoving equipments, construction, shipbuilding and large tanks and vessels.

The MWR-350 robot features a laser sensing system with an in-built video camera that can be controlled remotely. Its innovative features include protecting the welders from hazardous smoke, assuring error-free welds and decreasing welder exhaustion. The enhanced reliability in welding lowers NDE and overall monitoring cost overheads. By programming the MWR-350 for tailored weaving designs and accurate locations, the robot can facilitate rapid and competent multiple bead overlaying and multi-pass welding.
