The Innorobo Summit, which was held in Lyon, saw the confluence of over 100 robots from across the world. The robot makers were quite pleased to exhibit their capabilities to their business partners and potential buyers present in the conference.
Hundreds of companies have taken part in the Innorobo Summit displaying their spectacular robots.
The main focus of the event was to find solutions to the challenges faced by the robotics industry and also to show some major applications of robots from across the world. The conference venue was filled with football playing humanoids, exoskeletons, highly accurate industrial robot arms and educational androids.
Hundreds of companies took part in the Summit to display their spectacular robots. A number of conferences were held in the Summit and a Vex Robotic competition was held at the Innorobo where eight teams consisting of French students participated and assembled their own robots from the VEX Construction Kit on a playground inside Innorobo on the 25th of March 2011.
The Innorobo gallery featured robots such as the robot museum guide Corebell, VEX , iCub, Irun, Darwin, Shrimp, Robopolis, Jazz, TSA, Robotis and Robotswim, to name a few of the hundred odd robots displayed at the conference.
