The first products are the BOXER-8641AI and BOXER-8640AI, which were first announced back in March, following the release of the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin™ developer kit, and are both powered by Jetson AGX Orin 32GB modules. These are followed by the more recently planned BOXER-8646AI, which will also utilize the Jetson AGX Orin module.

AAEON has also announced the BOXER-8652AI and BOXER-8651AI, its first products incorporating the new NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX module, while the BOXER-8621AI will also be available in SKUs powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano™.

With this launch, AAEON builds on the strong momentum behind the NVIDIA Jetson Orin platform worldwide. Customers can develop edge AI, robotics, AIoT, and embedded solutions for the NVIDIA Jetson platform, and then deploy applications on the Orin Nano, Orin NX, and AGX Orin modules as their requirements scale.

Our goal is to provide our customers with elite solutions, and to do that we continually seek out the newest and most advanced technologies,” said Alex Hsueh, Associate Vice President of AAEON’s System Platform Division. “The NVIDIA Jetson Orin platform will elevate our AI solutions range to new heights of sophistication, providing our customers with the tools to build world-class applications,” Hsueh added.

Pairing durable chassis designs with elite features such as multiple GbE LAN and USB 3.2 ports alongside expansion slots for 5G, Wi-Fi, and NVMe support, the BOXER-8641AI and BOXER-8640AI harness the full potential of the Jetson AGX Orin’s AI performance for smart retail, smart city, and logistics applications.

Meanwhile, the upcoming BOXER-8646AI will be equipped with a staggering 12 RJ-45 LAN ports for PoE, in addition to 10GbE LAN. Five DB-9 connectors will support features such as CANbus, 8-bit DIO, and RS-232/422/485, along with Wi-Fi, 5G, and PCIe capabilities provided by M.2 E, B, and M Keys. As such, the BOXER-8646AI will have the capacity for exceptional connectivity and the deployment of multiple cameras and sensors.

The BOXER-8652AI and BOXER-8651AI, both powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX, will possess an array of well-rounded features designed to take advantage of the exceptional processing capabilities of the platform to bring versatile, high-performance edge solutions to customers across vertical markets. More news regarding their release schedule is due to follow during Q1, 2023.

The BOXER-8641AI and BOXER-8640AI are now in mass production and available for purchase. All of AAEON’s upcoming products incorporating the new Orin-based production modules will feature the NVIDIA JetPack 5.x SDK to support the full Jetson software stack, aiding the development of AI applications in areas such as high-end autonomous machinery, smart retail, smart city, and Industry 4.0.

As an Elite member of the NVIDIA Partner Network, AAEON continues to innovate and provide award-winning solutions for AI computing at the edge with platforms featuring the NVIDIA Jetson line of SoMs.

NVIDIA executives will present a virtual special address on Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 8:00am PT, to share the latest developments in accelerated computing, including new products, partnerships, and offerings in autonomous machines, robotics, design, simulation, and more.
