NRK Launches New Products for Robot Calibration

New River Kinematics (NRK), a leading supplier of innovative metrology software, has launched SA Arm and SA Machine. The company has reported that these products can be availed globally from October 1st at a reasonable price.

SA Arm includes the unique features of NRK’s SpatialAnalyzer in the moveable CMM arm workstation with cost and features customized exclusively for arms. SA Arm has incorporated SA ArmPad, which is a distinct operator input method that enhances the usability and competency of the portable arm. SA ArmPad is awaiting its patent approval.

Bob Salerno, Co-Founder, New River Kinematics, has stated that their portable arm package is competitively priced and delivers a competent GD&T solution for the market, thereby enabling customers to purchase an efficient product at a reduced price.

The other new product, SA Machine, offers all the advantages of New River Kinematics’ SpatialAnalyzer Ultimate and CAD metrology software. Additionally it can be instantaneously incorporated into CNC devices and robots. With the SA Machine’s in-built automation equipments and metrology instruments, the robots and CNC machines can be effectively standardized and enhanced to metrology-level precision in real-time. The earlier industrial robots supported were Kuka and ABB and it was reported that further addition of automation components which are commercially feasible will be instigated in another few years.

Joe Calkins, NRK Co-Founder expressed his excitement over the efficiencies of their products. He stated that they are determined to become a distinguished leader in incorporating metrology into CNC machines and robots, which can be accomplished with the help of an SA Machine.
