CEO of 3D Robotics to Demonstrate UAV Live at Serendipity Series

Message Bus, pioneer of cloud-based infrastructure for email, mobile and social messaging, is pleased to announce that Chris Anderson, the CEO of 3D Robotics and the founder of DIY Drones, will speak and give a live Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) demonstration at its Serendipity Series today at 11:30 a.m. PT at its headquarters in Marin.

The Serendipity Series, sponsored by Message Bus and Smile by Webshots, is an ongoing speaker series that brings together technology professionals with business leaders, artists, athletes, writers and thinkers to encourage the cross pollination of ideas and stories in order to promote creativity. Talks are unscripted and focus on matters of personal and professional importance and interest. Past speakers include Om Malik, Lane Becker, Thor Muller, Biz Stone, Ido Leffler, Max Levchin, Matt Mullenweg, Philip Rosedale, Dave Hersh, Kara Swisher, Tina Sharkey, Jon Avnet, Steve Finley, Deborah Santana, Evan Williams and Robert Gupta.

Anderson is presenting the 16th talk in the Serendipity Series. From 2001 through 2012, he was the Editor in Chief of Wired Magazine. Before Wired, he worked at The Economist for seven years in London, Hong Kong and New York in various positions, ranging from Technology Editor to US Business Editor. He is the author of The New York Times bestselling books The Long Tail and FREE as well as the new Makers: The New Industrial Revolution. In 2007, he was named to the "Time 100," the news magazine's list of the 100 most influential men and women in the world.
