B+R Industrial Automation Releases New Range of Stepper and Synchronous Motors

B&R Industrial Automation has declared the inclusion of accurate planetary gears to its stepper and synchronous motors family. This new addition facilitates offering an economic and superior drive program for all industrial applications that can be streamlined to cope with various requirements of the clients and is offered through a single provider.

Gear Motors

The company has worked with Germany-based, Neugart, for creating a motor-gear building block principle, which is new to the industrial market.

The planetary gears are included in 8LSA, 8LVA, 8JSA and 80MP series motors of B&R, eliminating all bothersome interaction issues between the gear and motor suppliers. Along with Neugart, B&R developed various models of straight and angled gears with all traditional drive flange geometries.

The single-stage default gears with two or three stage layouts feature gear ratios i=3, 4, 5, 8 and 10 and arcmin backlash less than or equal to 8 to 15. This motor series also offers an optional backlash ¡Ü 1 arcmin with superior output torques.
