German Machine Vision Robotics Provider Debuts Product Line at Shanghai Expo

Germany-based machine vision provider VITRONIC is displaying its color line-scan camera at VINSPEC, SNEC PV Power Expo being held in Shanghai. It is the first time a non-Asian country is showcasing its products at this predominantly Asian event.

The product checks color and print quality of cell front sides. All these tasks will be possible with just one system.  It has four single high-resolution lines for individual colors, besides separate ones for black and white. These channels ensure 64 MPix of image data per cell. High quality and color clarity are ensured with optimal LED illumination and evaluation software. The software makes it possible to view color, surfaces, edges and overall shapes.

The company has also started a Chinese website www.vitronic.de/zh in an endeavor to tap the Chinese market. The site will provide details of products and services offered for PV manufacture by the company, which has also opened a local service center in Shanghai manned by Chinese personnel.
