Expert Drones to Sponsor Top FPV Drone Racing Pilots to Expand Consumer Drone Business Ventures

Expert Drones™, a subsidiary of Dronepire Inc., announced today it's move to sponsor top FPV drone racing pilots from across the country as part of an initiative to expand its consumer drone business ventures. Racers are fully sponsored by Expert Drones and members of the team will be competing at the US National Drone Racing Championships broadcast live on ESPN August 5-7th 2016.

"Drone racing is unlike any other sport I've ever participated in…I'm excited to be sponsored by Expert Drones and represent the brand at the upcoming Drone Nationals," said Thomas Wilke, nationally ranked racer and one of Expert Drones sponsored pilots competing in the individual competition.

Without a doubt, drone racing is the latest craze within the action sports world, and is poised to literally take off. Recently 15-year-old Luke Bannister, a British teenager, won $250,000 at the Dubai World Drone Prix last March. Since then, many consumers have been purchasing drone-racing kits to try their hand at the sport. Professional drone racers can reach speeds upwards of 80mph and fly in and out of various obstacles through the use of high definition cameras, all from the safety of their chair.

"While still in its nascent stages of being fully embraced across the U.S., drone racing is the future of action sports," said Richard Wicker, a managing partner of Expert Drones. "I very much foresee the day where stadiums are packed full of racing spectators and enthusiasts."
