ZMP Develops Robot Electric Car with Inertial Measurement Unit

ZMP announced that it has released a new electric robot car that features various sensors like speed sensor, stereo camera, laser range finders and Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU).

The new RoBoCar MEV robot car can move on its own with an accuracy between 1 cm and 2 cm.

The electric robot car is available in three different models such as Drive-by-wire model, Steer-by-wire model and Brake-by-wire model. Drive-by-wire model can adjust its speed on its own. Steer-by-wire model features automated steering ability. Brake-by-wire model includes IMU and stereo camera.
