The Pixsys DRR245 process controller features universal input configurable for up to 18 different sensor options and is suitable both for stand-alone installation and for remote control via RS485 communications. These features make the Pixsys DRR245 process controller ideal for a whole range of industrial applications. A main feature of the Pixsys DRR245 process controller is the many types of sensor input for which the unit is configurable.

The Pixsys DRR245 process controller accepts input from a full range of thermocouples, RTDs, current transformers, and potentiometers. Output options available to the Pixsys DRR245 process controller include relays (including Open/Close logic for valves), SSR, 4-20mA and 0-10 Volt (both for control and/or rescalable retransmission of setpoint/process value). The Pixsys DRR245 process controller has an extended power supply range of 24 to 265Vac/dc.

The Pixsys DRR245 process controller also has a retransmission function to convert signal or thermocouple input to output (either 4-20mA or 0-10V). Serial communication via RS485/ModbusRTU protocol and load monitoring via current transformer are both standard functions of the Pixsys DRR245 process controller. A Latch-on function for sensor calibration (including load cells) is also included.

A Windows®-based software package is available to set all parameters on PC and save the programs to/from controllers, for archive purposes, and to reduce the time required for start-up. A memory card with internal battery is provided with the Pixsys DRR245 process controller which allows the parameters and settings to be duplicated within seconds without connecting the controller to a power supply. An additional Memory Card also allows upgrade of firmware.

The Pixsys DRR245 process controller is approved by CE, CSA and UL.
