All AutoLog® PLC devices can operate as RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) devices. Actually most of AutoLog® PLCs are operating as RTU devices. AutoLog® RTU device is programmable logic controller, which is especially designed to communicate with remote control room (SCADA), using the most suitable communication network:
- GSM-RTU (GSM / GPRS Network)
- Radio-RTU (Radio modem UHF / VHF network)
- TETRA-RTU (TETRA Terrestrial Trunked Radio Network)
- Other: Ethernet, Wi-Fi, RS-485, RS-232, satellite, etc.
