Pierpont Community and Technical College to Commence Mechatronics Program

Pierpont Community and Technical College has announced that a new mechatronics program will be started in August.

The students who have enrolled in this program will be exposed to both mechanical and electrical fields. They will learn techniques involved in troubleshooting as well as controlling the machinery.

Jo Calvez of Pierpont Community and Technical College has been developing the syllabus and materials for the program. The course has been designed in such a way that students can successfully complete the program within two years.

Jo Calvez has stated that those who are interested in electrical and mechanical areas can take up the program. He added that the degree will offer an opportunity for students to take up careers in several fields.
