Bosch Rexroth, a global leader in the field of drive and control technologies, has announced the exposition of machine tool automation and CNC products in the technology fields of Electric Drives and Controls, Industrial Hydraulics, Linear Technology, Assembly Technology and Pneumatics at IMTS, booth E-4942 in Chicago from September 13-18.
The main products which will be featured in the booth include CD01/02-PI Pneumatic Valve Terminal System, IndraMotion MTX Micro Compact CNC, Rexroth TS 5 Assembly Conveyor and Variable-speed Hydraulic Pump Drives.
CD01/02-PI Pneumatic Valve Terminal System has a modular design which accommodates 16 valves and connections for all common field bus modus operandi like PROFIBUS DP, CANopen, DeviceNet, Sercos III and Ether CAT. With flow rate of 1350 liters per minute, CD01 valves have a valve width of 26 mm. Valve width of CD02 is 18 mm and the flow rate is 650 liters per minute. This product also allows linking of plug in valves with different flow rates in the valve terminal system.
The IndraMotion MTX micro CNC is a simple and low cost CNC solution from Rexroth, which is ideal for automating up to four feed drives for standard turning and milling machines. 24V DC auxiliary sensors and actuators without additional coupling relays, PLC (IEC 61131-3), controller, drive hardware and other software components are integrated within the compact cabinet. The product is available in two models- one with three and the other with four axes and these can be operated by connecting Rexroth IndraDrive units with SERCOS III Ethernet. Powerful 32 bit processor ensures shortest CNC and PLC cycle times, thereby making the product the most compact CNC of its class.
Rexroth TS 5 Assembly Conveyor TS is a heavy-duty, modular conveyor system designed for the transport of work pieces with loads up to 300kg/m. The key features include a tough design for harsh production environments, modular and preassembled components for easy system restructuring. It also enables maintenance-free operation since no lubrication is required for the king shaft. Products can be transported either on a work piece pallet or directly on a continuous roller track. Branching off in both directions even over the side is done by Curves, which are individual and self contained units. The product is available in three standard widths.
Variable-speed Hydraulic Pump Drives offers great potential for saving energy costs and reducing noise and reduction of hydraulic power loss. Unlike conventional variable displacement pumps, variable-speed pump drives reposition the closed-loop control into the converter. Depending upon the power requirement of the hydraulic system, the tempo of the electric motor is adjusted by the converter. While being inoperative the converter reduces the speed of the electric motor and thus trims down power consumption.
