Embedded Live Event to Feature Roboteers Challenge

‘Embedded Live’, UK's biggest hardware and software design event will be held at the Earls Court, London between October 19 and 21.

This event will feature the ‘Roboteers Challenge,’ on October 20 which includes several teams on a first-come-first-served basis. The only criterion for participation is that the teams should have their own robots.

The Roboteers Challenge has three levels. The basic level includes Basic Letry Arduino-based robots which are inexpensive, fun and adroit. The intermediate level will feature fully automated robots based on Lego Mindstorms and optional Tetrix or POB or VEX. While performing tasks the robots should not interact with other computers and their software and architecture should be open sourced. The advanced level is same as that of intermediate level except for the total cost factor involved in the robot's components.
