The certification covers designing for solution, testing, consulting, manufacturing, technological support for hardware and software and service delivery. Kiva Systems uses mobile robotics to ensure that the inventory is accessible to employees so that order fulfilling can be done in a more efficient manner.

According to Benge Amrogi, who is the VP of programme and product management at Kiva Systems, ISO 9001 certification is highly critical for sectors such as aerospace and medical devices as the quality of the product or service provided is measured. He also added that the company receiving ISO 9001 certification is proof of the quality of its robotic solution.
