Previously known as Eastern Bearings, Eastern Industrial Automation, a supplier of machine tool components recently declared an initiative that intends providing improved, effective mechanical power transmissions solutions for its global customers.

The views of Drew Tucci, the Director of Sales and Marketing of Eastern Industrial Automation (E.I.A), can be summarized as follows:

• The precision of high-quality parts and machine tools will recede if not properly maintained.
• For developing conveyor belts or manufacturing equipments with excellent performance features, the mechanical power transmission solutions such as gear couplings, gear reducers, synchronous belts, drive tensioners and torque limiters are mandatory.
• Motion is essential for precision and performance besides industrial application.
