Memex Automation has declared that David McPhail, President and CEO of Memex, will attend and address the American Manufacturing Strategies conference, which will be held at the Hilton Chicago - Indian Lakes, Chicago, between November 11 and 12. This is the biggest North-American summit focusing on production strategies and process delivery.
Since the North American market is effectively recovering from the recession hit, performance enhancement and exploration of new strategies are of major concern for the manufacturers for ensuring sustained competition. In the current manufacturing scenario, manufacturing programs are not widely deployed to operate the machinery either due to the absence of proper network links to robust CAD/CAM servers holding several programs or due to the time delay in downloading bulky programs, even if there is a proper network linking. Also in many instances, the automation option cannot be availed due to the constraints involved in obtaining the correct program for operating the machine. It was reported that this conference will assist manufacturers by addressing all these major issues.
