Blue Prism to Present Enterprise Robotic Process Automation Software at Major Global Conferences

Blue Prism, the leading developer of enterprise robotic process automation (RPA) software, will be presenting at two major global services and outsourcing conferences this week: the HfS Blueprint Sessions, happening Nov. 17-19 in Chicago; and the Alsbridge Provider Summit, happening Nov. 19-20 in Dallas.

Blue Prism CMO Pat Geary and CEO Alastair Bathgate will speak at the Horses for Sources and Alsbridge-hosted events, respectively, to explain to attending operations leaders the capabilities of software robots and the value of enterprise RPA in accelerating core business processes, managing security and compliance, and curbing costs.

More and more, global services and outsourcing organizations are seeking innovative ways to execute operational processes. While existing approaches like desktop scripting fail to deliver substantial value, operational effectiveness and scale, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) – falling on the opposite end of the spectrum – can introduce risk with unpredictable business rules that are inconsistently applied. Blue Prism seeks to provide the middle ground where the vast majority of processes and volume of transactions reside. In this middle ground where total transaction integrity which is key, robust and scalable software robots execute complex, “smart” business rules with total transparency and predictability within a fully audited and change control-managed data-centric platform.

“We recognize that organizations today want to break the mold from traditional approaches like outsourcing or desktop scripting,” said Bathgate. “At the same time, however, ushering in too much change too quickly can be extremely risky. Operations personnel want to be cognizant about monitoring performance and ensuring compliance with business and industry standards. Enterprise RPA is the perfect solution for these groups, offering them an innovative, improved way for completing key processes under highly-secure, supervised conditions.”

Added Geary: “We’ve seen outstanding results from early adopters of enterprise RPA, and as the technology continues to advance, we’re happy to see more and more organizations look to software robots to carry out vital business functions. We’re very excited to welcome 20 new clients to the Blue Prism user community in the last six months, including some of the largest insurance companies, financial services groups and innovative business process outsourcers in the U.K., Europe and the U.S.”

Geary will join Charles Sutherland, EVP of HfS Research, and Mihir Shukla, CEO of Automation Anywhere, during the Blueprint lunch session, “Robotic Process Automation: Moving Beyond the Hype.” Geary will speak specifically about misconceptions associated with enterprise RPA and the industry landscape, highlighting applications in vertical and horizontal markets and opportunities for increased innovation. More information on the session, taking place at 12:45 p.m. on Nov. 19, can be found here.

On Nov. 20, Bathgate will speak to providers, carriers and tech companies about autonomics. Alongside Frank Casale, founder of the Institute for Robotic Process Automation, and Jonathan Crane, CCO at IPsoft, Bathgate will discuss when and how we will see enterprise RPA manifest as an accepted business technology. More information about that panel, happening at 10:45 a.m., can be found here.
