ENOVATION to Deploy Blue Prism's Robotic Automation Software across New Divisions and Countries

Leading developer of robotic process automation software Blue Prism today announced that ENOVATION, an international information and communication technologies company, will now deploy its technology across new divisions and countries to maximize operational efficiency, reduce labor costs, and support clinical processes and systems integration on a larger scale.

This expanded deployment signifies Blue Prism’s mounting global presence amongst healthcare organizations, which are increasingly realizing the advantages of implementing a digital workforce of Blue Prism’s software robots to complete core hospital processes.

ENOVATION first selected Blue Prism to drive clinical processes and systems integration for its UK subsidiary in 2012. Having successfully executed massive organizational changes related to the introduction of new processes, ENOVATION recently elevated its partnership with Blue Prism, expanding its robotic process automation (RPA) efforts into other subsidiaries including Belgium, China, Germany, Holland, and the United States. ENOVATION will use Blue Prism to not only continue supporting systems integration, but also to take on key HR functions and systems processing.

“Blue Prism has been paramount in ensuring our ability to instill new processes easily and efficiently,” said John Oxtaby, managing director at ENOVATION UK. “We’re confident that its RPA software solution will not only help us seamlessly implement and integrate new systems in facilities throughout our global portfolio, but also complete vital processes in hospitals – and beyond – efficiently, accurately, and cost-effectively.”

Mark Norwood, associate director of IM&T at Derby Hospitals NHS Foundation, an ENOVATION customer, added: “Blue Prism has played a vitally important role in automating business processes around departmental patient flows and system registrations which otherwise would have required extra staff and reduced timeliness of patient information to our clinical systems. Blue Prism is now an integral part of our IT infrastructure and we are fully self-sufficient in its use, having implemented the solution for a number of other projects, including complementary integration services to support the deployment of the Hospedia Extramed bed management solution.”

Blue Prism’s expanded work with ENOVATION underscores its increased service to the universal healthcare market. Ascension Health, the largest non-profit health system in the U.S., currently leverages Blue Prism technology to take care of insurance claims processing. Market leading mobile solution provider TotalMobile also uses Blue Prism to robotically extract information from NHS Trust systems and securely transfer this data to NHS clinicians with TotalMobile devices for easy access to patient records.

"Speed and accuracy mean everything to the healthcare sector, and we’re glad to play a role in simplifying hospital procedures – whether they’re related to insurance claims processing, patient data delivery, or check-in,” said Alastair Bathgate, CEO, Blue Prism. “By offering an efficient, affordable, and accurate approach to core administrative processes, hospital staff doesn’t have to worry about back-office work, and can instead focus on providing patients with the utmost care.”
