Helen Collings, Teacher and Eco Team Leader of Southwell Primary School, has mentioned that the visit of Recycler is part of their ecology preservation initiatives. She added that their eco team is supporting recycling methods in the school as well as in their community.

Collings stated that the visit of Recycler robot had enabled small children to better understand recycling concepts and also highlighted the message of 3Rs to grownup children in an interactive method.

Shirley Barre, Waste Watch Outreach Education Officer demonstrated Recycler to several hundreds of Southwell students. She stated that children can easily correlate with Recycler as the robot is almost their age and height. She added that the 3Rs message is very vital for small children. She believes that children will spread the message of recycling.

Dorset County Council collaborated with Waste Watch to introduce the Recycler program in schools.
