Howard High School, Mount de Sales, Northeast High School Children to Participate in FIRST Robotics Contest

Robotics team formed by 35 students from the Howard High School, Mount de Sales, and Northeast High School will contend in the FIRST Robotics Contest. The competition is scheduled to be held at the Gwinnett Arena in Atlanta between March 18 and 19, 2011.

The team will send their robot to Atlanta. The contest enables them to develop a robot that is capable of performing specific tasks.

The robot must suspend inflated tubes in specific patterns from hooks on the wall. The team will receive extra points if a small robot is propelled from a bigger robot and it climbs a poll.
