Renal Ventures Management Selects Authentidate's Telehealth Solution

Authentidate Holding Corp., a provider of web-based revenue cycle management applications and telehealth products and services for healthcare organizations, announced today that Renal Ventures Management, LLC (RVM), a leading provider of dialysis services for patients suffering from chronic kidney failure, selected Authentidate's telehealth solution for the remote monitoring of some of the dialysis patients who have kidney failure. The roll out is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2015.

Astrobotic in Partnership with NASA Creates Preliminary Version of Flight Software for Griffin Lander

Astrobotic Technology, in partnership with NASA under the Lunar CATALYST initiative, has developed a preliminary version of its flight software for precision guidance. This software will direct the Griffin lander to safe touchdown on the Moon at a pit in the Lacus Mortis region on Astrobotic's first mission. Astrobotic developed the software using NASA's Core Flight Software (CFS), then validated Griffin's mission performance and fuel usage using NASA-proven modeling and simulation tools.

New Mexico State University to Hold Robotics Summer Camps for Students

Two robotics summer camps will be held at New Mexico State University for students ages 10-17. Advanced Robotics Summer Camp will be held July 14-16 and Beginning Robotics Summer Camp will be held July 21-23. The camps are provided by the Engineering New Mexico Resource Network, part of the College of Engineering.

Berkeley Lab Researchers Help Determine Radiation Risk of Exploring Underwater Aircraft Carrier

About 42 miles southwest of San Francisco and 2,600 feet underwater sits the U.S.S. Independence, a bombed-out relic from World War II. The aircraft carrier was a target ship in atomic weapon tests at Bikini Atoll in the Marshall Islands during the war. Then, in 1951, it was loaded up with 55-gallon drums of low-level radioactive waste and scuttled just south of the Farallon National Wildlife Refuge off the California coast.

Andretti Technologies, Houston Mechatronics to Develop Electric Powertrain for Formula E Race Car

Houston Mechatronics Inc (HMI) and Andretti Technologies have teamed to develop an advanced electric powertrain to propel Andretti's Formula E race car, which will debut in Season 2 of the Formula E Championship. The motor and supporting power and control electronics successfully completed the initial FIA inspection at Donington Raceway in England this week.

NMSU to Perform First UAS Flight Inspection of Elephant Butte Dam in New Mexico

The Bureau of Reclamation has selected New Mexico State University to be its lead unmanned aircraft system subject matter expert to perform the first Reclamation dam inspection. This proof of concept aeronautical research project will occur at Elephant Butte Dam in New Mexico later this summer.
