Thermaltronics New Solder Robot Selected for 2020 GLOBAL Technology Award

Thermaltronics USA, Inc. received a 2020 GLOBAL Technology Award in the category of Soldering Robots for its TMT-R8000S. The award was announced during a Virtual Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020.

The new TMT-R8000S solder robot will enable companies to meet the requirements of Industry 4.0, with accuracy, repeatability and traceability, at an affordable price.

The single-head soldering robot, TMT-R8000S Solder Robot System, is designed for simplified soldering applications but still includes vision/mapping, fiducial marks and dynamic laser height control and incorporates the same IP software used on the company’s successful benchtop system. It also includes a separate drive motor, which allows for adjustment solder wire feeder, a feature under patent application.
