Montana State University Releases Online Robotics Course for Teachers

Montana State University has launched ‘Using Robots in Lunar Exploration’ (Physics 591-01), a new online robotics course for teachers handling science, math and technology subjects and is scheduled between October 4 and November 9. On completion, the teachers will receive one graduate credit from the University.

It was reported that this online robotics course is provided through Extended University's National Teachers Enhancement Network (NTEN), a program which has been providing online resource materials since 1993 for K-12 science teachers. This six-week investigation-based robotics course highlights the contribution of robotic technology in NASA’s lunar mission. LEGO Mindstorms robotics kit will be provided to the applicants and will teach them on the method of utilizing the kit for enhancing their students’ curiosity in lunar expedition.
