AME Unmanned Systems and AAI Unmanned Aircraft Systems have signed a strategic alliance agreement towards developing unmanned systems.
AME unmanned systems is part of the ChandlerMay Company and AAI is the operating unit of the Textron Company. The President and CEO of AME unmanned systems, John Purvis, pointed out that AAI and ChandlerMay have been associated with each other for many years now. He added that the strategic alliance further strengthened their relationship by bringing together the UAS expertise of AAI and AME unmanned systems.
According to the contract the companies will be working together on providing more comprehensive UAS solutions for electronic warfare and special missions to the U.S government and other customers across the world. They will also be working on integrating the fury system of AME with the UAS launcher and ground control products of AAI. Steven Raid of AAI UAS reiterated their commitment towards providing a wide range of capabilities in supporting the war fighters. He mentioned that through the collaboration they will be able to meet a broader customer requirement range and also provide the end users with higher success rates in their missions.
