Boomerang Systems to Deliver Parking Spaces Using RoboticValet Parking System

Boomerang Systems, a renowned innovator and manufacturer of automated robotic parking and self storage systems, declared that it has received a contract to supply 249 parking spaces for Boardwalk Avenue in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

This Metropolitan Project utilizes Boomerang’s innovative RoboticValet Parking System. NJ based Lazocean, Cherry Hill will be the project’s developer who fabricated the 1-ac site located on the Boardwalk linking Rhode Island and Metropolitan Avenues, in 2009.

The Metropolitan is a contemporary 400 ft residential tower with magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean. The project includes 124 residential units with 5,000 sq.ft of retail space that leads to the Boardwalk, located proximal to the new Revel Casino. The project’s foundation will be laid in the early 2013 and the project will be initiated by 2014.

Presentation of project plans for The Metropolitan was executed by the head of development for Lazocean, Chip Pressman, in association with an expert project team. This project plan was presented to the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority on February 2, 2012. The project is expected to achieve final approvals in March.

According to Mr. Pressman, Boomerang RoboticValet System has been selected for the project due to its versatility, simplicity and reliability. It facilitates simplified installation and operation. Boomerang's Parking System allows effortless movement of the robot with simplified replacement. It will facilitate consistent operation without impacting the operation of robots in the space and without interrupting other related services.
