Deutsche Messe’s subsidiary, Hannover Fairs USA declared that the first Industrial Automation North America (IANA) trade show has totally sold out of exhibitor space.
IANA will make its first appearance at Chicago’s McCormick Place, along with the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS), scheduled from September 10 to 15 2012. Major industrial automation processes and solutions based on integrating information and control in plant operations will be displayed by several major global exhibitors. In addition, innovative technologies to be showcased at the event include machine tool, energy, automotive, aerospace, infrastructure, material handling, food & beverage, medical, mechanical and fluid power transmission industries.
According to the CEO of Hannover Fairs, Larry Turner, the Industrial Automation events portfolio of Hannover Fairs has taken deep roots in the BRIC countries, Europe, and Eurasia. By involving in the recent portfolio event in the U.S., Hannover anticipates adding global visitors who pursue novel products for the digital factory. Plant managers, engineers, and maintenance specialists are investigating ways to refine their operations.
This year’s Industrial Automation North America trade show will host conferences and training sessions through which the recent solutions and technologies in manufacturing automation will benefit the IANA and IMTS attendees.
Motion, Drives & Automation Conference will be hosted by Penton Media; and Global Automation & Manufacturing Summit by CFE Media.
ISA (International Society of Automation) will conduct NFPA Training Sessions at IANA.
Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company’s Plant Manager, Billy Taylor; President & CEO of the Association for Manufacturing Technology, Douglas Woods; and Karen Kurek, head of McGladrey’s National Manufacturing & Distribution Practice will be the keynote speakers at the event.
