Houston Hair Restoration expert, Dr. Bernardino Arocha of Arocha Hair Restoration, will introduce minimally invasive robotic hair restoration to patients wishing for a shorter recovery and no visible scarring in addition to the natural, undetectable results Dr. Arocha is already known for.
Arocha Hair Restoration will be the first to receive and begin using the ARTAS Robotic System for hair restoration.
Dr. Arocha is a Diplomat of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery and has performed more than 3,000 hair transplant surgeries, transplanting an estimated total of approximately 9 million follicles. He serves as a physician examiner for the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery. Arocha Hair Restoration exclusively performs medical and surgical hair restoration procedures, focusing on ultra-refined follicular unit hair transplantation.
The ARTAS Robotic System uses sophisticated imaging technology and precision robotics to locate and collect individual follicular units accurately and consistently, thousands of times in a single session. ARTAS is used on the back of the patient's scalp where hair follicles are dihydrotestosterone (DHT)-resistant and not susceptible to genetic hair loss when transplanted to the top of the scalp.

In addition to offering The ARTAS System, Arocha Hair Restoration will continue to offer the traditional method of harvesting follicles by removing a strip of scalp and methodically extracting the follicles with the help of a microscope for patient who prefer that option. Dr. Arocha and his experienced team regularly provide surgeries exceeding 3,000 follicular unit grafts per session, with their largest session to date being 6,000 grafts.
