Metro Homeschool Robotics Team to Participate in BEST National Championship

Metro Homeschool Robotics team is one among the 24 teams to participate in the 2011 BEST National Championship, which is scheduled to be held in Orlando.

The team, including homeschool students from across the metro area including Brian and Tony Mehl of Shawnee, secured the first position in the Web Page Award, second position in the igus Top Gun Award and Founders Award and they obtained the third place in BEST Award at the Frontier Trails competition in Fort Smith, Ark. This made the team to advance to the final BEST Robotics Contest.
