GE Intelligent Platforms Announces Acquisition of SmartSignal

GE Intelligent Platforms, leading provider of automation solutions, has acquired SmartSignal, a supplier of remote monitoring systems.

Jim Gagnard, President and CEO of SmartSignal, has stated that GE Intelligent Platforms is dedicated in addressing tough business challenges. He mentioned that he believes their systems offer an innovative approach to functional intelligence and can cope with all types of industrial equipment.

According to Maryrose Sylvester, President and CEO of GE Intelligent Platforms, SmartSignal is a reputed company and its technology can identify alarming equipment faults at an early stage. He added that the acquirement of SmartSignal complements their present abilities in machinery analytics and diagnosis.
