ACAMP Attends CES 2018 to Discuss Advanced Autonomous Systems

ACAMP a Canadian leader in product commercialization support for the past 10 years will be attending the CES 2018 in Las Vegas along with several of its clients.

2017 has been a highly successful year for ACAMP, which included the modification and development for autonomous vehicles for example a fully electric BYD E6 passenger car for platform testing and a sound based emergency vehicle detection system as a safety system. These achievements have demonstrated ACAMP's expertise in product development and advanced sensor fusion, while providing standard autonomous vehicle platforms available for testing of new systems sensors by the Advanced Systems for Transportation (AST) Consortium.

The AST Consortium was established by ACAMP in 2016 and leverages the technical and operational expertise of its members to advance development of autonomous systems in Alberta Canada. The 35 AST Consortium members include major multinational OEM representatives, Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive suppliers, government organizations (Federal, Provincial and Municipalities), academia, and innovative Alberta technology companies from a diverse range of industries ranging from aviation, energy, automotive and industrial.

ACAMP is a unique technical organization, established in Alberta to support industry in the development and commercialization of advanced technologies. Since inception in 2007, ACAMP has grown to over 40 multidisciplinary engineers and support personnel with facilities located in both Calgary and Edmonton and clients numbering over 350 worldwide. ACAMP's capabilities support full product development of electronics hardware, firmware, sensors, embedded systems, subsystems and full systems. It is the only advanced technology product development center in Canada that provides support at each stage of product development process, from proof of concept through to commercial product.
