Cognito Quam Electrotechnologies Ltd (established in 1990) is a privately held engineering and commercial company specializing in industrial electronics and their application. Ms Smeele-Daniil is the executive officer responsible for the general, commercial and logistical management of the company's undertakings. She holds an LL.B. from the University of Hull.
Dr. Daniil is the executive officer in charge of Cognito Quam's technical activities. He is a registered electrical and electronics engineer, a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece, a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (USA) and a member of the European Working Group of the Industry Applications Society (Power Conversion). He holds a M.Sc. in Instrument Design and Application and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Electronics, all from UMIST in Manchester, UK. He is a specialist in industrial electronics covering measurement, control, information and power applications for the factory floor. He has published on Hall effect power measurement, low magnetic field metrology and three-phase soft-starters.
Mr Politis is in charge of the company's finances and accounts. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Athens ("ASOEE").
