CEE has declared that the AUTOMATICA 2012 fair will be held sooner this year. Rather than being organized in June, the exhibition will be held between May 22 and 25, 2012 at the New Munich Trade Fair.
The organizers of the event have reported that registrations are already closed. The 2012 exhibition is likely to occupy five halls, whereas the previous trade fair was spread over four halls. This supporting news complements the forecast made by VDMA Robotics and Automation in 2010 stating that the automation segment will accomplish a significant two-figure rate of development in 2011.
A congress will be organized this year, ahead of the Green Automation trade fair. This fair was highly successful at the previous AUTOMATICA event. The Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA) will organize a technology meeting titled, "Produce Green - in a Green Way" in Stuttgart on 29 March 2011. The forum will talk about various challenges in resource efficiency in partnership with Messe Muenchen and with VDMA Robotics and Automation. The event will also offer details regarding the new guiding principles from the Brussels Government on resource and energy competency. Clients from the automotive segment will discuss their intentions and ideas for saving resources. Providers like Festo and Kuka will showcase various methods of building competent automation modules and equipments.
